Today was such a beautiful and encouraging day at the women’s conference. We were blessed to have 49 women attend from several different communities:
- Vume-Kpoviadzi – 5
- Adidome – 2
- Mafi-Kpordiwlor – 4
- Mafi-Kumase – 7
- Mafi-Avikope – 4
- Mafi-Azanukope – 5
- Adaklu-Tsrfe – 4
- Adaklu-Hasu – 3
- Titrinu – 2
- Ho – 13
It was such a joy to see women arriving from all these places. Seeing their smiles, hearing their laughter, and worshiping together was truly a blessing.
We began the morning with praise, worship, and introductions, setting the tone for a wonderful day together. Our mission team had the privilege of presenting each woman with a Bible and a Bible marker that includes verses they can turn to during times of crisis or need. It was a special moment watching them receive God’s Word.
Our theme for the conference is “Walking with Jesus,” based on Lamentations 3:22–26, reminding us of God’s faithfulness and mercy each day.
Several women from the team shared powerful teachings:
- Sue spoke about our identity in Christ, reminding us who we are because of Him.
- Vivian taught about our daily walk with Jesus and how we stay close to Him.
- Charity shared the story of Rachel and Leah, using a creative and fun sketch that everyone enjoyed.
- Leeann taught about Naomi, helping us see God’s faithfulness even through difficult seasons.
Later, we divided into five small groups of about ten women each. During this time, everyone discussed what they had learned and how they could apply it to their personal walk with Jesus. The conversations were lively, and the women participated with so much enthusiasm and openness.
It was truly a wonderful day of growing together, encouraging one another, and building our faith. We are so thankful for each woman who came and for the opportunity to walk this journey with them. 💛

We learned that today was market day in downtown Ho. The streets were full of people and vendors with made this afternoon’s ride back to our hotel a very interesting experience.
We are going through a lot of drinking water as it’s very hot and humid. Here these 3 beautiful ladies are delivering us more water making sure we have plenty. Please keep us in your prayers as the extreme change in climate can affect us during your long days.
