As we pack our bags today and prepare for our journey home, our hearts are filled with mixed emotions. This time has been such a blessing in so many ways. We have made new brothers and sisters in Christ and shared in their lives, their faith, and their daily struggles.
We have seen firsthand the challenges many of the rural communities face. In one village, we felt the deep pain of a place where there is no clean drinking water, no electricity, and where even traveling in and out is difficult because of poor roads. Life there is very hard, yet the people continue to hold on to hope for a better future.
In another community, we could truly see and feel the presence of the Lord. It was beautiful to witness how much has changed since Christ has been welcomed into their hearts. Even though life is still difficult and many rely on farming with very few other opportunities for work, their faith and joy in the Lord are evident.
These experiences will stay with us. The people, their faith, and their perseverance have touched our hearts deeply.
Tomorrow we will catch an early morning flight, and with the Lord’s traveling mercies we expect to arrive home Friday afternoon. We are grateful for all that God has allowed us to see and be a part of during this journey. 🙏✈️
