After a long 10 1/2-hour flight from New York to Accra, Ghana Africa. The team safely touched down at approximately 10:19 am Ghana time, 3:19 am Arizona time. After departing the plane the team was able to pickup their visas and pass through customs. We learned on this trip that it’s much easier to apply for and pickup the visas upon arrival opposed to the online process state side. After picking up their luggage which thankfully all of it did arrive, they were greeted by Senyo and his son Aaron. Loading everyone and everything into the van, Senyo took them to the mall in Accra for brunch before the 3-hour drive to Ho. The team is now safely checked into their hotel that they will be calling home for the remainder of the trip. Next up is dinner and a good night’s rest. Please continue to lift them up in prayer.

John 14:12

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do whatever I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

Through weeks of prayer and preparation the time has come for the team to begin their journey to Ghana Africa. Over the next 12 days they will be taking part by teaching from the bible and sharing their testimonies with approximately 60 children of Fountian of Life Chapel International and of the outlying rural communities surrounding the city of Ho. They will also be traveling to the rural communities to experience everyday life growing up in these small remote areas. On Thursday morning July 13 at approximately 7:45 am this team of 2 adult women from Shiloh Christian Ministries, and 4 teen age girls from Move City Church both from Sierra Vista Arizona began their trip. Starting out at 10:35 am by boarding a plane at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport and flying to New Yorks JFK. with an original connection to Accra, Ghana Africa departing at 11:55pm. That original connecting flight was cancelled after several hours of delays and the team spent the night at the TWA hotel at the airport. After getting some sleep along with refreshing showers and with a new scheduled flight to depart this evening, July 14th at 7pm and arriving in Accra at 9:39 am Ghana time they are ready once again.

Please keep them in your prayers as they continue on their way and carry the word of God with them.

Romans 10: 14-15

14: How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them. 15: And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?

This evening at 7:43 New York time the team departed Kennedy airport. They are scheduled to arrive at approximately 10:30 AM Ghana time. That’s 3:30 AM Az time.
