The Lord was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything he did as he served in the home of his Egyptian master. Potiphar noticed this and realized that the Lord was with Joseph, giving him success in everything he did. This pleased Potiphar, so he soon made Joseph his personal attendant. He put him in charge of his entire household and everything he owned……..So Potiphar gave Joseph complete administrative responsibility over everything he owned. With Joseph there, he didn’t worry about a thing—except what kind of food to eat! Joseph was a very handsome and well-built young man,” Genesis 39:1-6
Abraham left everything he had for Isaac. “And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac” – Genesis 25:5. Let’s look at the size of wealth Abraham left for Isaac: “He (God) has given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses” – Genesis 24:35.
Despite the enormous inheritance his father left him, Isaac still worked and God blessed him. “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him”- Genesis 26:12.
The greatness of Isaac came from his work that God blessed. “And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great” – Genesis 26:13.
When his children are working, God becomes happy because he himself works diligently. “Jesus said to them, My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working”- John 5:17.
Just because Isaac decided to work and joined God’s class, God also blessed him until the Philistines who opposed him envied him. “For he (Isaac) had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him” – Genesis 26:14.
If you are a child of God who is working, Issac story will be your beginning. Your opposers would envy you but can’t hack your account. May the grace Isaac enjoyed be shed over you.
God was with Joseph and that changed his story. Look at it: “And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand” – Genesis 39:3. May people see like Portiphar, that everything you do, God makes it prosper in hands.
God’s kingdom has no place for lazy people. “Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth” – Proverbs 10:4. Poverty is the outcome of laziness. Rise up and let’s go to work for God to bless our work!!!.
LET’S PRAY
Everlasting Father, give me grace enough to know that, failure to work robs me of God’s blessing upon work. Bless my handiworks in a thousand fold in the name of Jesus. Lord protect me and my family from envious and jealous people in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen Amen Amen.

YOU ARE BORN TO WORK
“But now Timothy has just returned, bringing us good news about your faith and love. He reports that you always remember our visit with joy and that you want to see us as much as we want to see you. So we have been greatly encouraged in the midst of our troubles and suffering, dear brothers and sisters, because you have remained strong in your faith. It gives us new life to know that you are standing firm in the Lord” 1Thesalonnians 3:6-8
God made us to work for a number of reasons. We saw one of the reasons yesterday. You’re not just working. God made you and program your body to work.
After creating Adam, he told him to cultivate the garden before he ate the fruits. “And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat”- Genesis 2:15-16.
You are born with a working blood. Another reason God wants you to work, is to for you to feed yourself. “Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread” – 2 Thessalonians 3:12.
When you work, God expects you to take care of your family. Failure to do so, puts you in the class of unbelievers. “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel (unbeliever)” – 1Timothy 5:8.
God should have been on earth to supply the needs of others. As a result of this He would bless the work of your hands so you can help others in his name. “Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needs” – Ephesians 4:28.
God even said because of helping the poor he would bless your work. “You shall surely give him (poor), and your heart shall not be grieved when you give unto him: because that for this thing the LORD your God shall bless you in all your works, and in all that you put your hand unto” – Deuteronomy 15:10.
Failure to help the poor attracts divine sanction. “(If) your eye be evil against your poor brother, and you give him nothing; and he cries unto the LORD against you, and it be sin unto you” – Deuteronomy 15:9. Your inability to give to the needy has the capacity to cause God to lock up his blessings to you.
God showed us how to give by giving his last and begotten son to us for a sacrifice. Then he said: “Be you therefore followers of God, as dear children” – Ephesians 5:1. Just look at the number of sons and daughters God has today and follow his giving example.
LET’S PRAY
Eternal Father, give me grace enough to know that, when I fail to sow seed at seed time, l will be a spectator at harvest time. Holy Father let Your Mercy and Grace take more of me and give more of You to always be Your Hand reaching out demonstrating Your love through giving in the glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen Amen Amen.
Fountain to all areas of your life in the glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen Amen Amen.

“This is what the lord of Heaven’s Armies says: The people are saying, ‘The time has not yet come to rebuild the house of the Lord.’”………. Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of God’s people began to obey the message from the Lord their God. When they heard the words of the prophet Haggai, whom the lord their God had sent, the people feared the Lord. Then Haggai, the Lord’s messenger, gave the people this message from the Lord: “I am with you, says the Lord!” Haggai 1:2-13
God knows that he wouldn’t be raining money into the wallets of his children just because they are his children. Hence he ordains his children to work.
He gives promises to bless the work of our hands. “The LORD shall command the blessing upon you in your storehouses, and in all that you set your hand unto” – Deuteronomy 28:8. Why should God want you to work?
First, he wants you his child to give to support any ongoing work in his kingdom. “Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that give it willingly with his heart you shall take my offering” – Exodus 25:2.
He doesn’t just demand an offering. It must come from a willing heart. What was the offering meant for? “And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them” – Exodus 25:8.
Do we need such offerings today? Yes! As long as temples are built, God will raise offerings from his children. Look at something that will shock you. “The glory of Lebanon shall come unto you, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious” – Isaiah 60:13.
God wants to make the place of his feet (not his head) glorious. For this he causes his children to offer different kinds of lumber. In Haggai’s time, when they failed to support the building of the sanctuary, he withdrew his blessings from them.
When they obeyed God and brought their offerings, God gave them assurance of blessing them profusely. “And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the LORD of hosts” – Haggai 2:7-8.
LET’S PRAY
Heavenly Father, give me grace enough to know that, the seed or the offering l drop is what God multiplies. Lord, give me the ability and willingness to obey Your Word to sow into the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Amen Amen Amen.

SPONSOR THE GOSPEL
Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
Jesus Christ shed his blood for souls to be saved; but for the gospel to spread, money must be shed by his followers. This truth is universal.
When Jesus resurrected, the chief priests and elders gave large sum of money to soldiers to tell lies that Jesus was stolen by his disciples and that he didn’t resurrect. “And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers” – Matthew 27:12.
Roman soldiers were to tell lies that they slept while the disciples stole the body of Jesus away at the risk of their lives. “Saying, Say you, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept” – Matthew 28:13
What is provoking here is that the devil through his agents are sponsoring the spread of lies with large sums of money while many christians are sleeping on their money. One thing to note is that, the spread of the gospel must run ahead of the spread of lies.
We all know that there are charlatans in the salvation industry. Yet there are good ones you can spot like the Shunamite woman fished out Elisha as a Holy Man of God. So you see, you may not have excuse when standing to give account to your maker.
God himself knows that cities of his kingdom can only spread through wealth. “My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad” – Zechariah 1:17. When money locates you, know that God who gave it to you has the spread of his cities through the gospel in mind.
Money doesn’t come to you by chance. God gave it to you. “John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven” – John 3:27. So allow God to use his money in your possession to sponsor the spread of the gospel.
LET’S PRAY
Heavenly Father, l thank you for my life and everything l have. l acknowledge that You are the Source of them all. Dear Lord, give me grace enough to be the steward of them all and to invest them in building Your Kingdom in the glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen Amen Amen.

MISSION CHALLENGES
“Don’t we have the right to live in your homes and share your meals?….What soldier has to pay his own expenses? What farmer plants a vineyard and doesn’t have the right to eat some of its fruit? What shepherd cares for a flock of sheep and isn’t allowed to drink some of the milk? ……. For the law of Moses says, “You must not muzzle an ox to keep it from eating as it treads out the grain.” Was God thinking only about oxen when he said this? Wasn’t he actually speaking to us? Yes, it was written for us, so that the one who plows and the one who threshes the grain might both expect a share of the harvest.” 1 Corinthians 9:4, 7-10
This social venture called soul winning, is a networking enterprise. This means soul winning flourishes with a team better than with individuals. However, whether it is with individuals or with a team, there is a peculiar challenge that saddles the enterprise.
Paul introduces the canker of ingratitude and inappreaciation when writing to the church at Corinth. He decried their attitude of not showing gratitude for his labour. “l ought to have been commended of you”- 2Corinthians 12:11.
Corinthian souls seemed to have forgotten that it was Paul who won them to Christ. So Paul had to remind them. “For though you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have you not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel” – 1 Corinthians 4:15.
They were not hospitable to Paul to commensurate his labour for them. So, Paul ask this unaffectionate question: “If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?” – 1Corinthians 9:11.
Finally, Paul told them that he would ever love them for souls even though they may never return love for his sacrifice for them. “And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved” – 2 Corinthians 12:15.
Such are the challenges in this soul winning business. You would rejoice if your souls show gratitude for your sacrifice. But on the contrary, some return heartbreaking responses for a reward. Some disappointments call for long time cardiodepressive treatment.
Despite all these odds, Paul was ready to die for his mission of preaching Jesus. “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God”- Acts 20:24.
Don’t give up the fight even though the devil may cause the souls to discourage us. There’s no battle without scars. When we armed ourselves against persecutions, insults and vilification, darkness will reserve no reason than to surrender the souls to us. Let’s snatch the souls from the fire!
LET’S PRAY
Heavenly Father, give me grace enough to know that, dangers feared to stop evil, is evil allowed in perpetuity.

MISSION CHALLENGES
She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, and they have come to tell you how to be saved.” This went on day after day until Paul got so exasperated that he turned and said to the demon within her, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And instantly it left her. – Acts 16:17-18
The salvation industry in which we work as salvation practitioners is full of challenges. Paul said, the door for winning souls is opened wide but you would have to fight battles to get the job done. “For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries”- 1Corinthians 16:9.
Who are those adversaries and how do they operate. “Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds” – Philippians 1:15-16.
This category of preachers were not preaching Christ to win genuine souls for Christ. Rather, they preached to show to others that Paul was wrong in his messages so to make Paul insecure. You could also suffer the same fate.
Paul went to Philippi for mission. He cast out soothe saying demon in a girl that brought great gain to her masters. The masters of the girl got offended and reacted by arresting Paul and Silas. “And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers” – Acts 16:19.
Paul and his team were later beaten and imprisoned for casting out demons. “And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely” – Acts 16:23.
When Paul wanted to visit the Thessalonians for instance, Satan blocked him. “Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us” – 1Thessalonians 2:18.
Despite all these mission challenges, Paul won a lot of souls to the Lord. Instead of grumbling at the challenges he rather turned them into opportunities for winning more souls. Paul was not a superhuman. He only knew that God was with him on the mission field. Rise up then with the same confidence.
LET’S PRAY
May the Lord God give you grace enough to know that, what makes you victorious in any battle is God’s presence with you in the glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen Amen Amen.

GOD REWARDS SOUL WINNING
But the believers who were scattered preached the Good News about Jesus wherever they went. Philip, for example, went to the city of Samaria and told the people there about the Messiah. Crowds listened intently to Philip because they were eager to hear his message and see the miraculous signs he did. …………… But now the people believed Philip’s message of Good News concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ. As a result, many men and women were baptized. Then Simon himself believed and was baptized. He began following Philip wherever he went, and he was amazed by the signs and great miracles Philip performed?. Acts 8:4 -7, 12-13
Soul winning expands our territory. It takes us to unknown places and makes us acquainted with those previously unknown to us. It gives God the opportunity to use us to bless others.
A man was secluded to live in the graveyard by demons in the town of Gardarenes before Jesus got there. Jesus became his Saviour that delivered him from a legion of demons.
The man Jesus delivered was kept unproductive at the graveyard. As soon as he regained his mind he became serially productive such that, he alone propagated the gospel in ten cities. “And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis (ten cities) how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel” – Mark 5:20.
One soul that you win could be destined to win more souls than you. Andrew won Peter to Christ. “Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first finds his own brother Simon, and says unto him, We have found the Messiah, which is, being interpreted, the Christ” – John 1:40-41.
Peter, Andrew’s only soul, at his first public preaching won three thousand souls to Christ. “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls” – Acts 2:41. Andrew would surely received a share of Peter’s reward.
Jesus has purchased souls in the warehouse of the world that must be redeemed. “Until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory” – Ephesians 1:14.
You can’t sit aloof. Your role is crucial. I tell you, souls are more important than any riches you can think of. Get involved with your time, your riches and your energy. Jesus has done greater part of the work. He has died for the souls. Our job is to evacuate the souls from the warehouse of the world. Let’s go now!!!
LET’S PRAY.
O Lord, give me grace enough to know that, the peace l give to society is winning the soul that has the capacity to rob it of peace in Jesus’ glorious name. Amen Amen Amen.

GOD REWARDS SOUL WINNING.
That night Paul had a vision: A man from Macedonia in northern Greece was standing there, pleading with him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us!” So we decided to leave for Macedonia at once, having concluded that God was calling us to preach the Good News there……..
One of them was Lydia from Thyatira, a merchant of expensive purple cloth, who worshiped God. As she listened to us, the Lord opened her heart, and she accepted what Paul was saying. She and her household were baptized, and she asked us to be her guests. “If you agree that I am a true believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my home.” And she urged us until we agreed. Acts 16:9-10, 14-15
God uses the souls you win to answer some of your prayers very often. This means, the more souls you win the earlier your prayers are answered sometimes. This is so because God has used you to solve their salvation needs.
God may not be interested in passing the answer to your prayers through unknown persons that would make you suspicious or skeptic. So when you pray, God knows that you need what you’re asking for. So he starts looking for the vessels that know you. Scarcely he uses those you don’t know you to answer your prayers.
When Peter needed money for ministry, God used the souls he won to Christ. Look how they did it. “For as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold” – Acts 4:34. They brought the proceeds of their sale to Peter.
When Paul needed shelter at Philippi, it was Lydia that he won to Christ that God used to provide it. “And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us” – Acts 16:15.
You have prayed for too long. Go out and seek and save souls. Jesus says, go and win the souls first then ask God for anything. It is likely that the souls you win have what you need. All God may be left to do is to speak to them.
“You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you” – John 15:16. Are you now convinced that soul winning is a function of answered prayers?
The caution is that you don’t go out to win souls because you need something that the souls can supply. Rather you win souls in obedience to Jesus’ command to do so. But bear in mind that God can use the same souls you win to sponsor you to fulfill your assignment on earth.
LET’S PRAY
Heavenly Father, give me grace enough to know that, soul winning is my kingdom assignment on earth in the glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen Amen Amen.

“Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:16-20
God rewards soul winners. Today our focus is on divine rewards for those who hunt for souls. Let’s start with Jesus our Lord and our example. God sent him to seek for souls and save them. “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost” – Luke 19:10.
Jesus endured assorted trials, and temptations because the elect. “Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory” – 2Timothy 2:10. The souls are not just there. They are bound by Satan. Hence you’ll by all means surfer persecutions in your attempt to save them.
When Jesus finished seeking and saving his portion of souls allotted him by God he gave God his report. “I have glorified you on the earth: I have finished the work which you gave me to do” – John 17:4.
God rewarded Jesus for seeking and saving the souls allotted to him. “Wherefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” – Philippians 2:9-10.
God also made him sit on his right hand where his power is concentrated. “Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places” – Ephesians 1:20.
On God’s right hand Jesus is enthroned over Satan and his cohorts. “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come” – Ephesians 1:21.
As if that is not enough, God has put all things under his feet. “And has put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church” – Ephesians 1:22.
Then, every tongue is divinely assigned to confess him as Lord. “And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” – Philippians 2:11. What a reward! Once our master has been generously rewarded for winning souls, you also have the privilege to be written in heavenly hall legends when you embark on aggressive soul winning.
LET’S PRAY
Heavenly Father, give us grace enough to know that, every believer has certain number of souls divinely allotted to him to win. Strengthen me not to lose my reward but make myself available for Your use to win more souls in the glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen Amen Amen. Fountain to your life.
“If I were you, I would go to God and present my case to him. He does great things too marvelous to understand. He performs countless miracles. He gives rain for the earth and water for the fields. He gives prosperity to the poor and protects those who suffer. He frustrates the plans of schemers so the work of their hands will not succeed.” Job 5:8-12
Life is full of challenges. God knows it. Before you step out to do any work for him he has this instruction for you: “Fear you not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness” – Isaiah 41:10.
My spiritual father told me that, when your father sends you and tells you not to fear, then he knows for sure that there are things on the way that can make you fear. When you meet those things, remember that your father told you not to fear because he would be with you to take care of all fear injectors.
That message sunk down into the inner chambers of my heart. Though demonic works were very overt where I started my mission work, that message embalmed me in divine security. I transfer the inspiration I received from that word into you also in Jesus name!
Jacob’s family lived under God’s security because God made his protection available for them. “And they journeyed: and the terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob” – Genesis 35:5.
No one can pursue you or terrorise you when God’s canopy of terror envelopes you. God was not kind to only Jacob. What he did for Jacob and his family is his intention for all his children. “For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed” – Malachi 3:6.
God told Jeremiah to tell you that, he has made you invincible before any battle against you begins. “And I will make you unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you: for I am with you to save you and to deliver you, says the LORD” – Jeremiah 15:20.
As if you didn’t hear what he said, he concluded by informing you that he is available to deliver you from all terror. “I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you out of the hand of the terrible”- Jeremiah 15:21.
Your fear of anything is you insecurity. Your faith in God and his word is your security. When God’s presence envelopes you for security, every weapon directed against you is a toy.
LET’S PRAY
Heavenly Father, give me grace enough to know that, fear is a defeat virus. It is contracted by those who disconnect themselves from God and his word. May I continue to stay focus on Your Word for directions in order to fulfill Your call in the glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen Amen Amen. Fountain to your life.
